Central golfers shine at Omni

BEDFORD — Nick Baum carded a 75 to top teammate Griffin Snowberger by a single stroke to win the individual championship at the Omni Bedford Springs High School Golf Invitational on Tuesday. Baum, Snowberger and Zach Oakes’ eighth-place score of 85 helped Central win the team championship, 236-242, over runner-up Altoona. The Mountain Lions were led by third-place finisher Kreighoff Cumming, who carded a 78. Isaac Miller led third-place Hollidaysburg with an 81 and finished fifth.
