Tigers sweep
HOLLIDAYSBURG -- Hollidaysburg swept Altoona, 5-0, in girls high school tennis behind singles wins from Crosby Denis, Megan Ferris and Regan McKee.
Nina Meadows and Grace Muriceak won at No. 1 doubles, and Sarah Neatrour and CeCe Williams got a victory at No. 2 doubles for the Lady Tigers.

Kennedy Williams won at No. 1 singles for the Lady Bearcats.

ALEXANDRIA -- Aiden Detwiler of Tyrone won the boys race in 18:04 to lead the Golden Eagles to a 15-49 win over Juniata Valley Tuesday in high school cross country action.
Madison Sneath won the girls race in 23:13 for the Lady Hornets and helped them beat Tyrone, 15-45.
