PHILLIPSBURG -- The Cambria Heights girls and boys cross country teams defeated Philipsburg-Osceola on Wednesday in a high school meet that also featured West Branch.
The Highlander boys won 28-30 over P-O but lost to West Branch, 28-30. On the girls side, the Lady Highlanders beat P-O, 18-37, but fell to West Branch, 15-50.
Savannah Hoover of Cambria Heights won the girls race in 24:10. The top Highlander boys runner was Daniel Hock, who took fifth in 21:35.
The boys race was won by Sage Karr of West Branch, who finished in 20:54.
