Opponents in place for Class 2A tennis final

The top two seeds — No. 1 Xane Whitesel of Juniata and No. 2 Nilesh Singh of Richland — advanced to the finals of the District 6 Class 2A Singles Tennis Tournament on Monday afternoon. Each won two matches at the Mansion Park courts. SIDMAN — Central captured the first two sets (25-23 and 25-13), lost the third (25-18) and then won the fourth (25-21) to claim a 3-1 win over Forest Hills Monday night in boys high school volleyball.
