Tyrone boys tennis defeated on road

MIFFLINTOWN -- The Tyrone Area High School boys tennis team lost to Juniata, 4-1, on Friday.

Alex Shock and Elijah Knarr won at No. 1 doubles for the Golden Eagles.

SINGLES: 1, Whitesel, J, def. Fleck, 6-1, 6-1; 2, Martin, J, def. Walk, 6-3, 6-1; 3, Kint, J, def. Newlin, 6-0, 6-2.

DOUBLES: Shock-Knarr, T, def. Stroup-Beward, 7-6 (7-4), 6-1. 2, Wriglesworth-Miller, J, def. Dasher-Harpster, 3-6, 6-4, 6-3.
