State owns singles final in boys tennis
H.S. boys tennis
William Liu of State College won the District 4-6 Class 3A boys singles tennis championship in State College on Wednesday with a 6-1, 6-1 win over State College’s Eric Liu.
Richland’s Nilesh Singh won the District 6 Class 2A singles tennis championship at Mansion Park, beating John Allen of Westmont Hilltop, 6-0, 6-1.

D6 2A: Singh, Richland, def. Allen, Westmont Hilltop, 6-0, 6-1.
Altoona rolls
Altoona moved to 11-5 overall with a 5-0 victory over Latrobe in boys tennis at Mansion Park.
Dylan Batrus, Owen Wasovich and Jude Brunhuber each won in straight sets in singles play for the Mountain Lions, and the doubles teams of Aiden Aiken and Avery Lanzendorfer, and Sean Ratchford and Thomas Orr did the same.
