MARTINSBURG — The Central boys volleyball team improved to 5-3 overall Wednesday night, thanks to a 25-15, 25-18, 25-15 win over Forest Hills in high school play.

Blake Reynolds had 14 kills to spark Central, which also got 13 service points from Lincoln Mock.

Teammate Landon Rhodes added eight service points while Christian Heuston chipped in with eight kills.

DuBOIS — Bishop Guilfoyle Academy fell to 2-6 with a 25-20, 25-22, 25-21 loss at DuBois.

Brenden Young had 20 assists and nine digs for BG, which also got eight kills from Griffin Chwateck and 10 blocks from Zach Weimer. Noah Kanish added eight digs and Kurtis Edgar six blocks. Karter Shall had seven service points.
