Tiger boys tennis ups mark to 16-0

TYRONE — Hollidaysburg improved to 16-0 with a 5-0 win over Tyrone in high school boys tennis action on Wednesday.
Michael Waibel, Cooper McAleer and Nolan Lloyd all won singles matches without dropping a game. Noah Breton and Evan Davies won at No. 1 doubles.
Tyrone fell to 3-11.
SINGLES: Waibel, H, def. Harris, 6-0, 6-0; 2, McAleer, H, def. Fisher, 6-0, 6-0; 3, Lloyd, H, def. Beck, 6-0, 6-0.
DOUBLES: Breton-Davies, H, def. Brodzina-Fisher, 6-1, 6-2; 2, Burwell-Walk, H, won by forfeit.

Altoona triumphs
HARRISON CITY — Altoona swept the singles matches and beat Penn-Trafford, 4-1, in boys tennis.
Sophomores Dylan Batrus, Owen Wasovich and Jude Brunhuber all won their singles matches without dropping a game. Avery Lanzendorfer and Thomas Orr won at No. 1 singles for the Mountain Lions.
The Mountain Lions improved to 7-5.
