Altoona brings home tennis championship from Central Mountain

MILL HALL — Altoona won the Central Mountain Invitational by defeating Mifflin County, 4-1, in the championship after topping Central Mountain, 5-0, and Juniata, 4-1, Thursday afternoon in boys high school tennis action.

Dylan Batrus went 3-0 at No. 1 singles for the Mountain Lions as did Owen Wasovich at No. 2 singles.

The team of Aiden Aiken and Avery Lanzendorfer also went 3-0 at No. 1 doubles.
