City woman arraigned in 2 cases
Frye
A city woman faces drug-related charges in relation to two incidents, court documents state.
Deia Louise Frye, 36, was arraigned Thursday by Magisterial District Judge Benjamin Jones on conspiracy, possession with intent to deliver, possession of drug paraphernalia and a weapons count.
Police said Frye was first charged in December after she allegedly distributed a “teener” of methamphetamine to a confidential informant.
In the second case, a criminal complaint alleges police seized 5 grams of meth, multiple glass smoking devices and homemade smoking devices from Frye’s residence in May.
Unable to post cash bail of $25,000 between the two cases, Frye is currently detained at Blair County Prison.
She is to appear before Jones Aug. 4 for a preliminary hearing.
