The Community Arts Center of Cambria County continues its 2026 Coffee House series with a performance by Back Page at 7 p.m. Saturday, April 18. The Coffee House Series will be taking place outdoors on CACCC’s Amphitheatre or indoors in the main space gallery of the Goldhaber-Fend Fine Arts Center building in Johnstown. Celebrate Earth Day at Fort Roberdeau’s “Plantapaloza,” 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday, April 19. Discover how stream buffers can help control flooding, pollution and climate change. Help plant trees and remove invasive plants along the Roberdeau Run and riparian buffer zone. Wear long sleeves, long pants, and please bring your own work gloves. If you don’t have work gloves, we supply gloves to borrow while supplies last. Shovels provided. Don’t forget to apply bug spray in advance. Admission and parking are free, donations welcome. The Bellwood Community Choir will present “An American Tribute” spring concert at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, April 19, at the Bellwood-Antis Elementary School all-purpose room. An uplifting afternoon of patriotic music will be presented by the Bellwood Community Adult Choir, children’s choir and handbell choir. Admission is free.

The Allegheny Chorale will celebrate 250 years of America’s independence with a spring concert, “I Hear America Singing.” The Chorale will perform two concerts, 3 p.m. Sunday, April 26, at St. James Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1407 Eighth Ave., Altoona, and 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 28, at First Presbyterian Church, 13th Street and Logan Avenue, Tyrone. At the Tyrone concert, the 46th Pennsylvania Regiment Band, a prominent local Civil War reenactment Band who performs period-accurate music using 19th century brass instruments will perform as people are gathering for the concert as well as during the intermission.
