Auditions have been announced for an original, 9/11-themed production. Off Pitt Street Theater Company, in partnership with ArtsAltoona, will hold auditions for “Never Forget — A 9/11 Introspective” on Thursday, Aug. 21, at 7 p.m. at The Grotto at the ArtsAltoona Center in Downtown Altoona.

This production will feature a staged reading of two, original One-Act plays written by Dawn Ziviello: “Elevated,” and “41 Floors Between My Life and God,” adapted from a short story by Bedford area writer, Jonathan Kirk. No memorization is required.

These powerful ensemble pieces will challenge actors — offering diverse parts for all genders, ages and abilities for 8-12 actors ranging in age from 16-75 (with a small part for the right, young actor age 5-8). There will be one show date on Thursday, Sept. 11, at 7 p.m.
