Glenn R. Stratton, 70, Patton, died Friday. He was born in Spangler, son of Karl and Nancy (Sharp) Stratton. On June 24, 1976, he married Cynthia A. Johnson. Surviving are his wife; three children: Christel, Shawn and Jesse; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a brother, Thomas. John M. “Jack” Bowman, 75, of Hollidaysburg, passed away Wednesday after complications from a fall. Born in Wilkinsburg, Jack was the son of the late Robert and Josephine Bowman. He was preceded in death by his brother, Robert; and his sister, Julie Bowen. Jack worked as a carman for Conrail. During his career, he was a skilled tradesman who worked as a bricklayer, welder and mason. He retired in 1995 after 25 years of service.
