McKEESPORT — Christian Heuston had 21 service points, nine kills and eight blocks to lead Central to a 3-2 win over McKeesport Monday night in boys high school volleyball action. The Dragons (1-1) took the first two sets 26-24 and 25-20 before falling in the next two (27-25 and 25-20) and then rallying to claim the final set by a 20-15 score. Altoona volleyball ousted in semifinals

NORTH HUNTINGDON – The Altoona Area High School boys volleyball team competed in the Norwin Tournament on Saturday where it finished in third place out of the 17 schools in the event. Altoona made it to the semifinal round against host Norwin where it lost, 25-18. Altoona opened up pool play by going 3-1, beating Trinity (25-11), McKeesport (25-22) and Penn Hills (25-21) while losing to Bethel Park (25-19).
