The Altoona Area High School gymnastics team improved to 4-0 Thursday night, thanks to a 137.5-115.95 win over DuBois in scholastic play at the Fieldhouse. Altoona hockey gets big win

JOHNSTOWN — The Altoona Area High ice hockey team improved to 6-4 Thursday night, thanks to a 10-3 win over Westmont Hilltop at 1st Summit Arena inside the War Memorial Arena. Altoona broke open a 1-1 game with five goals in the second for a 6-2 lead. Altoona got two goals each from Cayden Helsel, Noah Staines and Ricky Crum.
