Donald R. Ellis, 89, of Duncansville, formerly of Portage, passed away Tuesday. He was born in Portage, son of the late Clyde and Genevieve (Moyer) Ellis. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Darlene O’Shaben. Surviving are his wife of 68 years, Betty Jane (Crum) Ellis; children: Diane Corran, Jeffrey Ellis, Jennifer Glass, Donald Ellis, Tracy Beaupre and Susan Kirsch; and several grandchildren. Carol A. Foor, 83, of Bellwood, died Tuesday at UPMC Altoona. She was born in Bellwood, daughter of the late William H. and Ada A. (VanScoyoc) Root. Surviving are her husband, Lloyd W.; and children, Lloyd Bradley Foor and Crystal Clark. She was preceded in death by her son, Tim Root; and a brother, William H.
