Sherry Melissa Traveny, 67, of Cresson, died Wednesday at Maple Heights Health and Rehab Center, Ebensburg. She was born in Washington, D.C., a daughter of Carol (McCombs) Traveny and the late Lynn A. Traveny. She is survived by her mother of Fallentimber; her twin sister, Terri Simmers; brothers: Eric, Timothy, Nathaniel and Daniel Traveny. A 1977 graduate of Glendale High School, Sherry had a passion for horses, enjoyed artwork and was skilled at painting and drawing. Currently there are no services planned. Arrangements are by McQuown Funeral Home, Glasgow.

Amy L. Weston-Lutz, 68, of Altoona, passed away Tuesday. She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Richard and Mary Ellen (Caldwell) Weston. She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, William Lutz; and a son, Desmond. Surviving are her children: a daughter, Tessa Ginther and husband, Timothy; a son, Jeremiah Lutz and wife, Kaitlyn; and seven grandchildren. Amy graduated from Altoona Area High School and enjoyed spending time with her family, camping and being outdoors. All services are private at Sorge Funeral Home & Crematory Inc., Hollidaysburg.
