David Merle Yingling

David Merle Yingling, 77, passed away Friday at Van Zandt VA Medical Center after an extended illness. David was born in Altoona, son of the late Paul and Julia Yingling. He is survived by brothers, Paul and Dennis Yingling of Altoona; and a sister, Bertha Yingling Frank of Altoona. He is also survived by children: Michael, Michelle and Joshua. David was a U.S. Army veteran and served during the Vietnam War from June 1968 to January 1970. No services are planned at this time. Special thanks to the nurses and staff on the sixth floor of Van Zandt VA Medical Center for the care David received.
