Gearhart
Tyler S. Gearhart, 38, of Williamsburg, passed away Monday. He was born in Binghamton, N.Y., the son of Brian Gearhart and Tracey (Stemmler) Pine.
Surviving are his father; mother and stepfather, Tracey and Christopher Pine of Duncansville; a sister, Brianna Gearhart; grandmothers, Connie Stemmler and Jane Gearhart; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Terrance Stemmler and Walt Gearhart; and an uncle, Michael Gearhart.
Tyler was a 2007 graduate of State College Area High School and obtained an AS in Graphic Art from South Hills School of Business & Technology. He worked at Drucker Diagnostics as a Senior Graphic Designer.
He was deeply artistic and creative, with a gift for visual expression as a graphic artist and a natural talent for music that shone through his drumming. He was an amazing drummer, well known in his genre, yet he carried his gifts quietly, with a humility that was part of who he was.
Tyler was complex and thoughtful, with a deeply caring heart.
Those closest to him will remember his quirky sense of humor, his sensitivity, his love for everything 80s, his nostalgic nature and all the parts of him that made him “Tyler.”
He loved his family deeply, and he was loved by them in a way that cannot be captured in words.
