Dolores Arlene Ritchey
July 23, 1937 – June 23, 2026
Dolores Arlene Ritchey, 88, of Martinsburg, passed away peacefully on Tuesday at Homewood Living Martinsburg. She was the daughter of the late Frank and Edna (Stombaugh) Bowser.
On May 25, 1956, she married Nelson E. Ritchey. Together, they shared 68 years of marriage before his passing on March 20, 2025.
She is survived by her loving children: son, Danny Ritchey and wife, Lisa, of Blue Knob; and daughter, Tammie Reffner and husband, Tim, of Altoona; grandchildren, Obadiah (Erin) and Jacob (Danielle); and great-grandchildren: Trenton, Isaiah and Elias. She is also survived by her brothers, Dahl Bowser (Lois) and Myron Bowser (Shirley).
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her siblings.
Dolores was a 1955 graduate of Greenfield Kimmel High School. She was employed as a machine operator at Blank Book Co. in Roaring Spring, retiring on June 20, 1999.
She enjoyed cooking, baking, hosting holiday gatherings and caring for her flowers and vegetable garden. Above all, Dolores cherished time spent with her family.
She was a faithful member of Puzzletown Bible Church.
Friends and family will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. Monday, June 29, 2026, The Good Funeral Home Inc., 108 Alto-Reste Park, Altoona.
Interment will be held privately at Alto-Reste Park, Altoona.
