Dennis Michael “Mike” Hoover, 80, of Sinking Valley, died Wednesday. He was the son of the late Charles F. and Margaret (Hustak) Hoover. On April 3, 1971, he married Carol M. Hileman, who survives. Also surviving are sons: Scott (Sharon) Hoover, Eric (Kristen) Hoover and Shawn Hoover; a daughter, Heather (Scott) Weaver; grandchildren: Blaine Hoover, Brody Hoover, Sarah (Caleb) Orr and Seth Hoover; a great-granddaughter, Adalyn Orr; and brothers, Charles and Brian (Barbara) Hoover. Ruth was the daughter of the late Frank and Velma (Woodring) Smith. Pamela Ann Allison, 70, of Roaring Spring, peacefully passed away on Friday after a prolonged illness. She was the daughter of Sherman and Kathryn Morrison. Pamela was preceded in death by her husband, Paul; her brother, Ed Morrison; and her sister, Pat Mountain. Surviving are her daughter, Dr. Carlee Ranalli; her son, Seth Allison; and her two grandchildren, Carson and Anastasia Ranalli.
