Dennis Michael ‘Mike’ Hoover

Dennis Michael “Mike” Hoover, 80, of Sinking Valley, died Wednesday. He was the son of the late Charles F. and Margaret (Hustak) Hoover.
On April 3, 1971, he married Carol M. Hileman, who survives.
Also surviving are sons: Scott (Sharon) Hoover, Eric (Kristen) Hoover and Shawn Hoover; a daughter, Heather (Scott) Weaver; grandchildren: Blaine Hoover, Brody Hoover, Sarah (Caleb) Orr and Seth Hoover; a great-granddaughter, Adalyn Orr; and brothers, Charles and Brian (Barbara) Hoover.
Mike was a 1964 graduate of Tyrone High School and a lifelong farmer, beginning with poultry farming and transitioning to dairy.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 16, 2026, at St. John Lutheran Church in Sinking Valley.
