Rudy J. Yerty, 81, Altoona, passed away Wednesday at his home. He was born in Baltimore, Md., a son of the late Joseph C. and Julia F. (Teeters) Yerty. He was preceded in death by 11 brothers and three sisters. At the request of the deceased, no public services will be held. Interment will take place at Carson Valley Cemetery. Helen L. Beckwith, 94, of Tyrone, died Sunday at Colonial Courtyard, Tyrone. She was born in Tyrone, daughter of the late Charles and Margaret (Rodgers) Kerchner. She was married Nov. 29, 1952, to Gilbert P. Beckwith, who preceded her in death Sept. 8, 1992.
