Helen L. Beckwith

Helen L. Beckwith, 94, of Tyrone, died Sunday at Colonial Courtyard, Tyrone. She was born in Tyrone, daughter of the late Charles and Margaret (Rodgers) Kerchner.
She was married Nov. 29, 1952, to Gilbert P. Beckwith, who preceded her in death Sept. 8, 1992.
Helen is survived by a son, Gilbert Paul Beckwith and wife, Vicki, of Tyrone; granddaughters: Kimberly Brenneman (Chad) of Berlin, Md., Wendy Christofer (Donny) in State College, Sarah and Emily Christofer of Tyrone and Shannon Beckwith of State College.
She was a graduate of Tyrone High School in 1950 and had worked at Gardner’s Candy Store for many years.
A memorial service will be announced later, at the convenience of the family.
