Bruce Frederick Wise Sr., 74, Altoona, passed away Monday. He was born in Berea, Ohio, son of the late Irvin N. and Clara P. (Holtzworth) Wise. Surviving are his wife, Kathy; sons, Byron (Molly) and Bruce (Kim); grandchildren: Cody, Meranda, Dylan, Alayssa, Byron Jr., Michael, Monica, William and Grayson; great-grandchildren: Isobel, Tamara, Lily, River, Miles and Rajker; and sisters, Terrie Reed and Susan Gerwert. He was preceded in death by a sister, Eudora Fosselman. Services will be private. Arrangements are by Mauk & Yates Funeral Home Inc., Altoona.

Friends will be received from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 18, 2025, at Sorge Funeral Home & Crematory Inc., Hollidaysburg, where a memorial service will immediately follow at 11 a.m. with the Rev Dr. John A.
