Joseph John Atty, 85, passed away April 30, 2025, in Daytona Beach, Fla., of complications after a fall. He was born in Altoona and graduated from Altoona High School in 1957; and Penn State University in 1961. Joe served in the U.S. Army for three years in Germany. He worked as a claims adjuster for Social Security in Philadelphia. Joe was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Said Atty (Atiyeh) and Minnie Mary Nader.
