Illa J. (Yon) Musselman, 84, of Altoona, passed away July 12, 2025, at her home after an extended illness. She was born in Roaring Spring, daughter of the late Martin and Edna Yon. Surviving are her daughter, Brenda French; granddaughters, Mindy Socie and Krystal Payton; great-grandchildren: Tyrone, Tyler, Maliyha, Zyell, Amere and Kamiyah, whom she loved spending time with; and her sister, Betty Richardson. She was preceded in death by six brothers and seven sisters. She will be remembered for her spirit of love and laughter. There will be no public services.

Jeffrey Allen “Jeff” Crum Stevens, 58 of Altoona went home to be with his mother on Tuesday in Sayre. He was born and raised in Altoona, where he lived the remainder of his life. Jeff is survived by two children: son, Mitchell (Jaslyn); and daughter, Alaina (fiance Nathan Lightner). Edith B. “Edie” Trinks, 93, of Altoona, died Wednesday morning at Cedarwood Rehabilitation & Healthcare, Tyrone. She was born in Revloc, a daughter of the late Gustav and Emilie (Malsatzki) Badorrek.
