Gerald W. Irvin, 83, of Bellwood, died Tuesday morning at Maybrook Hills Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center, Altoona. He was born in Juniata, son of the late Dale E. and Caroline J. (Franks) Irvin.

On Jan. 18, 1964, he married Nancy J. Estep at Bellwood Church of the Brethren.

Surviving are his wife of 61 years; a son, Larry D. (Lori) Irvin; a grandson, Cameron; three great-grandchildren: Aiden, Bentley and Elliot; two sisters, Shirley Stump and Mary Lou Garman; and numerous nieces and nephews. He is also survived by Josh Black and Rachel and Lindsey Detwiler, who called Jerry a wonderful Pap.

He was preceded in death by three brothers; and two sisters.

In 2008, he retired as an appliance technician at Mike's Video and TV, State College.

Jerry was a member of Bellwood Sportsman Club. He enjoyed bowling, fishing, hunting and woodworking.

Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Sept. 15, 2025; and 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 16, 2025 at Jon C. Russin Funeral Home Inc., Bellwood. A funeral

service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with Pastor Josh Crumlich officiating.

Interment will be at Blair Memorial Park, Antis Township.
