Marlin Dennis Fishburn, 84, Altoona, formerly of Bellwood, died Saturday. He was born in Bellefonte, son of the late Ralph and Lillian (Morgan) Fishburn. Surviving are his wife, Deborah; children: Nathan Koozer, Lisa Fishburn and Lori Rigg; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and siblings, David and Robert, Virginia Maddox and Cathy Walker. He was preceded in death by a son, Daniel Dennis. A celebration of Dennis’ life will be held at 5 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 3, 2025, at Logan Valley Presbyterian Church, Bellwood. Arrangements by Jon C. Kathleen A. (Frederick) Chambers, 69, of Fallentimber, passed away Monday. She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late George and Mary (Stoltz) Fredrick. Her husband, Timmey, preceded her in death. Surviving is her significant other, Carl Bennett; daughters, Danelle Butler and Heidy Franell; five grandchildren; and sisters, Joddie Huss and Michelle Graham.
