Vincent F. Ronzo Jr., 60, of Altoona, died Saturday. He was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., son of the late Vincent F. Sr. and Jeannette (Taylor) Ronzo. Surviving are his wife, Amy; sister, Joyce; nieces and nephews: Adam Almeraris, Markell and Martavius Herr, Taylor Miller, Torie Herr, Charles Lyman and Christopher Ronzo; father-in-law, Andrew Herr Sr.; sister-in-law, Andrea Herr; and brother-in-law, Andrew Herr Jr. He was predeceased by a sister, Jean Irrazabal; and mother-in-law, Cynthia Herr. Alfred Straubinger

Alfred Straubinger, 87, of Beccaria, passed away Thursday at Penn Highlands, Tyrone. He was born in Jersey City, N.J., a son of the late Eugene and Alice (Bernstengel) Straubinger. His wife, Carol, preceded him in death. Surviving are children: Lisa Folmar, Lynn Schaefer and Steven Straubinger; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren, Briauna and Charlotte Schaefer, with another on the way; and a sister-in-law, Janet Harabedian.
