Beverly Jean Hagerty

Beverly Jean Hagerty, 87, died Monday evening at Graystone Manor at Bellmeade. She was born in Bellwood, a daughter of the late John B. and Luella (Foust) Focht. She married Charles Kyle Hagerty in 1955 in Altoona. He preceded her in death May 21, 2024. Surviving are three sons: Charles J. Hagerty (Gail) of Goode, Va.; Daniel L. Hagerty (Gloria) of Altoona; Rob D. Hagerty (Sherry) of Lynchburg, Va.; six grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Hagerty was a member of Grace Bible Church, Hollidaysburg. Maxine Lee Hannah, 86, of Tyrone, died Monday at UPMC Altoona. She was born in Snyder Township, a daughter of the late Irvin D. and Esther V. (Friday) Phillips. She was formerly married to Nelson (Gene) Hannah. Maxine is survived by sons: David Hannah and his grandchildren: Curtis A. Arlene B. Long 94, of Chambersburg, formerly of rural Martinsburg, died Thursday. She was born in North Woodbury Township, daughter of the late Elwood and Thelma (Beach) Ayers. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry F. “Don” Long; daughters, Linda Gorman and Gail Mellons; and a brother, Ronald Ayers. Surviving are a son, Larry; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Visitation is from noon until the 1 p.m. service Wednesday, Nov. 19, 2025, at Diehl’s Crossroads Church of the Brethren.
