Maxine Lee Hannah, 86, of Tyrone, died Monday at UPMC Altoona. She was born in Snyder Township, a daughter of the late Irvin D. and Esther V. (Friday) Phillips.
She was formerly married to Nelson (Gene) Hannah.
Maxine is survived by sons: David Hannah and his grandchildren: Curtis A. Summers, Mindy Flory, Cody Flory and Traci Ann Hartman; Jerry Hannah and his grandchildren: Brandie Keller, Russell Keller, Matthew Hannah, Nathaniel Hannah and Leland LaGroce.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Esther, in 2014; and siblings: Albert, Kenny, Bert, Sam and Shawn; and daughter-in-law, Tammy.
Maxine was a graduate of Tyrone High School in 1957.
She had worked at Big Yank and retired in 1997 from Boyer Candy Co. after 27 years' service.
Friends will be received from 3 until the 5 p.m. funeral service Saturday, Nov. 15, 2025, at Derman Funeral Home Inc., Tyrone, with the Rev. Carl A. Schmidt officiating. Interment will be at Baughman Cemetery.
