Gary W. Furry Sr.

Gary W. Furry Sr., 85, of New Enterprise, passed away Wednesday. He was born in New Enterprise, son of the late Glenn W. and Freda P. (Ebersole) Furry. Gary was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Nellie; and a sister, Kay. Surviving are his children, Mindy Feathers (Jack) and Gary Furry Jr.; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren, with one on the way; a great-great-grandchild; and sisters, Sylvia Tyson (George) and Londa Calorafe (Rob). At the request of the deceased, no services will be held. Arrangements are by Fink & Stone Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc., Woodbury.

Peggy A. Knipple, age 97, a resident of the Presbyterian Village at Hollidaysburg, died Tuesday at the home. She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Raymond C. and Emma C. (Fleck) Neuhart. She married Raymond P. Knipple on Nov. 11, 1949, in Altoona. He preceded her in death June 28, 1997.
