Timothy S. “Tim” Houck, 58, of Altoona, passed away Wednesday. He was born in Altoona, son of the late Richard “R.E.” Sr. and Marjorie J. (Jenkins) Houck. Surviving are his son, Scott Staszak; a grandson; his girlfriend, Lynne Bowser; and siblings: Connie Rabuck, Gail Brumbaugh, Kim Lindenberger, James Houck and Dale Houck. He was preceded in death by brothers, Richard Houck Jr. and Darrell Houck. Friends will be received from noon until the 2 p.m. funeral service Thursday, April 30, 2026, at Harry E. Howard Dean Richardson Sr.

Howard Dean Richardson Sr., 87, Altoona, died Monday. He was born in Williamsburg, son of the late Robert and Eleanor (Feltenberger) Richardson. Surviving are his wife of 64 years, Phoebe; children: Fay Denny, Doris Benner, Howard II, Anthony and Jamie; many grandchildren; and a sister, Elsie Snyder. He was preceded in death by three children: Clair, Mary and Eleanor; two sisters; and four brothers. Dean served in the Army National Guard and was a butcher and farmer all his life. There will be no public services. Cremation service by Sorge Funeral Home & Crematory Inc., Hollidaysburg.
