Phyllis Pfahler Woodring, also known as Nana, formerly of Juniata, passed away Thursday, April 23, 2026. Friends will be received from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, April 30, 2026, at Mauk & Yates Funeral Home Inc., 719 N. Fourth Ave., Altoona. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Friday, May 1, 2026, at Our Lady of Mount Carmel, 806 11th Ave., Altoona, with Father Frank Scornaiehchi, TOR, officiating. Interment will be made at Calvary Cemetery.
