Jesse C. Gregory, 38, Altoona, passed away Tuesday, July 29, 2025, at UPMC Presbyterian Pittsburgh. He was the son of Patricia A. (Waugh) and the late James R. Gregory. Surviving are his mother; daughter, Kaelynn Gregory; sisters, Megan Gregory and Mellissa Cotton; brothers, James Waugh and Tyler Gregory; grandmother, Dorothy Guie; stepfather, Cory Havlin; stepbrothers, Jordon and Cameron Havlin; and his girlfriend, Taylor Sonnier. Ronald Calvin Hershey, 81, of Altoona, passed away Friday at Midtown Oaks Health and Rehabilitation Center after an extended illness. He was born in Altoona, son of the late Calvin J. and Ruth (Evans) Hershey. Surviving are four sons: Jeffery Hershey (Trish), Shane M. Hershey, Sean Hershey and Christopher Hershey (Holly); a sister, Carol Paul (Bill); and five grandchildren: Ethan, Kara, Theoron, Owen and Zoey. Phyllis L. (Benshoff) Myers, 89, Cassandra, died Wednesday. She was born in Johnstown, daughter of the late Paul and Martha (Eppley) Benshoff. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Edward “Ted” Jr.; and children: Kathryn, Mark and John. Surviving are children: Susan, Edward, Barbara, Matthew and Daniel; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; siblings, James and Ralph; and many nieces and nephews.
