Linda Diane Kennedy, 73, of Altoona, passed away Wednesday at home after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Altoona, a daughter of the late Robert and Helen (Karle) DeArment. On Oct. 18, 1975, in The Salem United Church, Altoona, she was united in marriage to William “Bill” Kennedy. Donna Mae Replogle, 71, Altoona, died Thursday. She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Howard and Erma (Miller) Van Tries. Surviving are her husband, Gary; children, Rachel Eamigh and William Walk; a sister, Carol Claar; stepchildren, Jennifer Benton and Russell Replogle; grand­children: Josie, Eden, Marlie, Lydia, Ellie and Carena; and two great-granddaughters. Omer H. “Blackie” Black, 97, Saxton, died Wednesday. He was the son of the late Forest and Nora (Levelle) Black. He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia; his daughter, Eugennie Treece; and his siblings. Surviving are his children: Omer Jr., Jodi Crooks and Brad Black; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Omer served in the U.S. Army from 1946-47 as a Corporal.
