2020 Leadership Blair County class named

Graduation ceremonies for the Leadership Blair County Class of 2020 were held Sept. 2 at The Casino at Lakemont Park.
This year’s 19 members bring the total number of people who have completed the program, sponsored by the Blair County Chamber of Commerce, to 610.
This is the program’s 26th annual class.
The program is designed to develop and enhance community leadership by preparing individuals from diverse backgrounds to assume more active roles in addressing community needs.
Each class selects a community service project as part of the program.
The Class of 2020 is raising money for the Gloria Gates Memorial Foundation, a nonprofit organization that reaches children from low-income families through a Virtual 5K event.
