Firm to integrate 911 maps for Mass. school district
ELS911 of State College has been selected to map and integrate the Fairhaven School District in Massachusetts' school floor plans with county 911.
The school was recently named The Most Beautiful High School in America and is on the National Register of Historic Places.
With more states requiring K-12 public schools meet uniform school mapping rules that allow a school's layout to be shared with first responder agencies, ELS911's services are constantly being refined to ensure all K-12 schools meet these requirements while also observing the aesthetic requirements of a school like Fairhaven High School.
Built in 1905 and known locally as "The Castle on the Hill," Fairhaven High School remains very much the school it was 120 years ago.
