Pennsylvania Food Merchants Association awards scholarships

The Pennsylvania Food Merchants Association (PFMA) announced the 21 recipients of the 2025 Thomas R. and Laura Ridge Scholarship. Each student will receive a one-year, $2,500 scholarship for the 2025-26 academic year. “Congratulations to this year’s scholarship recipients,” said Alex Baloga, president and CEO of PFMA. “We’re proud to support these exceptional students as they pursue their goals. Penn Highlands Foundation awards $100,000 in scholarships

JOHNSTOWN — The Pennsylvania Highlands Community College Foundation awarded more than $100,000 in scholarships to deserving students for the 2025-26 academic year. This includes $63,250 designated for the Supporting Scholars program, which encompasses the Emerging Leader Scholarship of $2,000 annually per student, and the Presidential Scholarship of $6,000 annually per student, for both first-year and second-year recipients.
