The Railroaders Memorial Museum will host historian Mark Glenn at 7 p.m. Friday, Aug. 7, as part of its 2026 Along the Broadway: Historical Lecture Series. Glenn will present “The Unique Blair Gap Water System for PRR Shops,” exploring how the Pennsylvania Railroad Shops in Altoona secured the water needed to operate steam locomotives and the massive shop complex.
