Downtown Bedford, Inc. will host the annual Spring Wine & Spirits Walk from 1 to 5 p.m. Saturday, March 22, in downtown Bedford.

The walk features wineries, breweries, distilleries and cideries that partner with the downtown businesses for the day. These vendors set up in a host location, provide samples to the event ticket holders and sell their products.

The Wine & Spirits walk will have 30 locations for sampling wines, beers, spirits and cider.

There also will be six tapas locations featuring food samplings from Bad Boyz Bistro with samples from Fox’s Pizza Den, LIFeSTYLE, Omni Bedford Springs Resort, Horn O Plenty, Freshtaurant, Bella Terra Vineyards, KLAVUHN’s Wood Fired, and Babe’s Kitchen.

Bottles of water will be given to participants sponsored by Composition Art & Wine Bar.

Advance tickets are $25 and can be purchased at Juli’s Wearable Art, Olde Bedford Brewing Co., Bella Terra Vineyards, Aesthetics by Kell, at the DBI Office or online at downtownbedford.com. Participants must be 21 years of age or older and have a valid ID present at registration. Tickets can be purchased during the event for $30, cash only, at the registration locations. Registration locations are at Bella Terra Vineyards, Founders Crossing and Olde Bedford Brewing Co. from 1 to 3 p.m.

At registration, guests will receive a tasting glass and map.

There will be a Wine/Beer/Spirits Check so ticket holders can make purchases as they sample and then pick up your purchases all in one location at the Bedford Mini Mall located at 126 E. Pitt St. All purchases must be picked up no later than 5:30 p.m.

Free parking throughout town, including free parking at the parking garage located beside the Bedford County Courthouse and a short walking distance to the locations.
