Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Edward Decker of Bellwood celebrated their 60th Diamond wedding anniversary on Saturday, Sept. 27, with a surprise party surrounded by the love of their family.

They were married Oct. 19, 1965, in Bellwood. Mrs. Decker is the former Patty Rosellan Pfahler.

The couple have three sons: Tom “JR” (Brenda), Mark “Butch” (LInda) and Mike (Nicole), all of Bellwood.

They also have nine grandchildren: Roseanne, Crystal, Tyler, Kelsey, Tommy, Mikey, Andrew, Miranda and Casey; and 12 great-grandchildren.

Together, they owned and operated D&R Transportation intermodal trucking business for several decades before retiring.

They credit faith, family and love as the foundation of their 60 years together.
