Mr. and Mrs. Robert F. Pennington are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary.

They were married Oct. 11, 1975, at the Penn State Altoona Edith Davis Eve Chapel.

The Altoona natives have always lived in Altoona. Mrs. Pennington is the former Janet Kay Penny. The couple have two children: Robert (Bobby) M. Pennington of Hamilton, N.Y. and Dr. Michael J. Pennington, daughter-in-law Dr. Loren J. Pease, of Pittsburgh. They also have three grandchildren: Robert (Clifford), Mia, and Parker.

Bob has been the broker/owner of Coldwell Banker Town & Country Real Estate for 52 years, and Janet has been a speech-language pathologist for 50 years.

She is employed by Mount Nittany Medical Center in State College.
