Mr. and Mrs. Michael Horton of Altoona celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary.

They were married Aug. 30, 1975, at St. Mark’s Catholic Church, Altoona, by the late Father Louis Mulvehill.

Mrs. Horton is the former Mary Grace Arend.

The couple have two sons, Paul and his wife, Devon of Cranberry Township and Christopher of Altoona.

They also have two grandsons, Michael and Patrick Horton, also of Cranberry, Pa.

Mr. Horton graduated in 1970 from Bishop Guilfoyle High School, Altoona, and retired from the U.S. Foods in 2015.

Mrs. Horton graduated in 1972 from Altoona Area High School and retired from J.C. Penney in 2017.

Both are members of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Lakemont.
