Mr. and Mrs. Grady and Amy (Boytim) Baney of Warriors Mark will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Saturday, Sept. 27.

They were married Sept. 27, 1975, at the Church of the Good Shepherd, Tyrone.

The couple have three children: Derek (Sarah) Baney of Conroe, Texas; Jared (Nicole) Baney of Bellwood; and Erin (Ben) Wetzel of Annandale,

Va.

They also have three grandchildren: Dominic Morello, Paige Baney and Jana Wetzel.

Mrs. Baney retired after many years working as an aide for the Tyrone Area School District and caring for infants at various daycare centers throughout the area.

She is a volunteer at the Tyrone Every Life Matters (ELM) Center and the Tyrone Area Historical Society and a member of Tyrone’s Golden Grannies.

Mr. Baney is a sales specialist for TIMAC Agro USA.

The couple are members of the Church of the Good Shepherd, Tyrone, and Warriors Mark Methodist Church.
