Leah Green, Sean Boyles

Leah Green and Sean Boyles were united in marriage at 1 p.m. June 4 at the barn at Fort Roberdeau, Sinking Valley.

The bride is the daughter of Mike Green of Gallitzin and Loretta and Tim Hoover of Altoona.

The bridegroom is the son of George and Regina Boyles of Altoona.

The Rev. Terryann Talbot-Moses performed the double-ring/Irish handfasting ceremony.

The bride was given in marriage by her sons, Timothy Green and Eddie McConnell.

Lanette Green served as maid of honor.

Bridesmaids were Teresa Green and Ava McConnell, daughter of the bride.

Ryan Smith served as best man.

Andy Boyles, brother of the groom, was usher.

The reception was held at the United Veterans Association Club, Altoona.

Jimmy and Ian Kennedy were guest book attendants, and Taylor Kennedy was the music attendant.

The rehearsal dinner was held at White Oak Hall at Fort Roberdeau.

The couple took a couples trip to Hershey and Kennywood and camped at Shawnee State Park, Schellsburg.

They are planning a family trip to Disney World, Orlando, Fla., in the spring.

They live in Altoona.

Mrs. Boyles is a 2001 gaduate of Altoona Area High School and a 2003 graduate of the medical secretary program at Computer Learning Network, Altoona.

She is a medical secretary for Dr. Rakesh Verma’s office at Allergy & Immunology Associates in Altoona and Ebensburg.

Mr. Boyles is a 2002 graduate of Altoona Area High School and served two tours with the U.S. Marine Corps in Operation Iraqi Freedom.

He is employed at Premier Rental, Altoona.
