Claire Jackson and Benjamin David Borst were married on Nov. 9, 2024, at Eastminster Presbyterian Church in Melbourne Beach, Fla.

She is the daughter of Jeff and Janet Jackson of Bellingham, Wash.

He is the son of David and Brenda Borst of Altoona.

The officiant presiding was Calvin Cosnahan, the groom’s uncle, of Meadville United Methodist Church in Meadville, Miss.

The bride was given in marriage by her father. Her maid of honor was her sister Samantha Jackson, and her bridesmaid was the groom’s sister Rachel Borst.

The best man was Zach Levy, and the usher was the cousin of the groom Danny O’Rourke.

The reception was on the rooftop of Hotel Melby in Melbourne Beach.

The rehearsal dinner was at the groom’s home.

The couple reside in Melbourne.

The wedding trip destination was Hollywood, Fla.

The bride graduated from Squalicum High School and Whatcom Community College in Bellingham and graduated in 2021 with a bachelor’s degree in electrical and mechanical engineering at Washington State University, Everett , Wash.

The bride is employed as an integration and test engineer at L3 Harris Technologies in Melbourne.

The groom is a 2013 graduate from Altoona Area High School and a 2017 graduate of Penn State Altoona with a bachelor’s degree in electrical and mechanical engineering technology.

He also is employed as an integration and test engineer at L3 Harris Technologies in Melbourne.
