NBC teams earn sweep at quadrangular

ALEXANDRIA — Northern Bedford swept a quadrangular high school track and field meet at Juniata Valley on Tuesday. The Northern Bedford boys prevailed with 102 points, McConnellsburg was second with 100, Juniata Valley had 44, and Williamsburg had 29. Justin Brubaker won the shot put and discus for Williamsburg. Trybus ties record in Highlanders’ victories

PATTON — Tanner Trybus tied a Cambria Heights record in the 100-meter dash with a first-place time of 11.1 seconds in a 114-30 win over Purchase Line and a 90-46 triumph over River Valley in high school track and field action on Wednesday. BELLWOOD — The Bellwood-Antis girls knocked off Mount Union, 136-14, and Northern Bedford, 109-41, in high school track and field on Tuesday afternoon. HOLLIDAYSBURG — Adam Ulery picked up his 100th career victory as the Hollidaysburg Area High School boys track and field coach in the Golden Tigers’ 117-33 win over Bellwood-Antis on Thursday in high school play. Ulery is 100-44 in his 17th year. Drew Wyland won the 100-meter dash and 300 hurdles for the Tigers, Caden DeLattre won the long and triple jumps, and Isaac Yarnell zoomed to victories in the 200 and 400 dashes.
