Central, Bellwood boys, girls split

MARTINSBURG — The Central boys defeated Bellwood-Antis, 105-45, and the Bellwood girls topped Central, 82-68, in high school track and field action on Monday. Shalen Yingling won the 100- and 200-meter dashes for the Central boys, Braden Allison won the 1600 and 3200 runs, and Eli Lingenfelter won the high jump and triple jump. Kole Dickinson won both hurdles events for the Bellwood boys. Central boys win invite title

BEDFORD — Central’s Eli Lingenfelter was named the boys outstanding jumper after winning the high jump by clearing 6 feet and led the Scarlet Dragons to a team championship over runner-up Bedford at the Giant Eagle Invitational on Saturday. ARMAGH — Led by victories by Dom Kuntz in the 1600- and 3200-meter runs, the Central Cambria boys claimed the Bill Wilt Memorial Invitational title at United High School on Saturday. Nolan Wyrwas (100 dash), Ojha Ojha (200 dash), Cody Roberts (800 run) and Jon Wess (110 hurdles) also won indvidual races for the Red Devils, who claimed all three relay championships as well. BELLWOOD — Dylan Andrews won three events as the Bellwood-Antis boys beat Southern Fulton, 111-34, and Juniata Valley, 130-19, in high school track and field action on Thursday.
